Bedding Sawdust
edding sawdust is made from Douglas Fir wood. The sawdust is fine in size and has a low pH. The advantages of Fresh Sawdust is that it is very easy to "pick" through, less waste of the materials when cleaning, and greater saving in the long run.
Recommended Uses
It is primarily used as a bedding in horse stalls because of its fine size. Blueberry farmers also use bedding sawdust as the preferred mulch for their crops.
Application
Top dress blueberry plants 1"-4" or in horse stalls at the rate of 1 yard per horse per week.
