oncrete mix is a blend of sand and rock, a major ingredient in Concrete.

To mix concrete, the general rule is to mix 1 part Cement to 5 parts Concrete mix(sand and rock mix).

First mix cement and concrete mix in a mechanical mixer. ( available from an equipment rental store) (If mixing by hand, form a crater for adding water.) Mix at a rate of 2? to 3 quarts per 50 lbs of cement mix. If too stiff add, add more water a little at a time, just avoid a soupy mix. excess water reduces strength and durablity and can cause cracking.
